Qualifying for Medical Marijuana in Florida
In order to receive a Medical Marijuana card and prescription in Florida, you must have a qualifying diagnosis.
Below is the list of qualifying conditions:
- Cancer
- Epilepsy
- Glaucoma
- HIV/AIDS
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
- Crohn’s disease
- Parkinson’s disease
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Medical conditions of the same kind or class as or comparable to the others listed
- Terminal condition diagnosed by a physician other than the qualified physician issuing the physician certification
- Chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying medical condition, or that originates from a qualifying medical condition, and persists beyond the usual course of that qualifying medical condition
What is the Process?
A diagnosis and order from a Florida qualified physician and a Medical Marijuana Use Registry card are both required in order to purchase medical marijuana in the state of Florida. Below is the process for obtaining these.
- Once we meet with you in person and confirm your diagnosis, we will create an account for you with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) using the email you provide. This is where your orders will be accessible.
- We will then walk you through creating your patient account with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR), so you do not have to navigate this set up alone.
Ongoing Renewal Requirements
- Per Florida State law, your Medical Marijuana order must be renewed every 210 days through your qualified Physician. These follow-up appointments can be done with one of our physicians by phone.
- Your Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) Identification Card must be renewed through the State of Florida annually and can be done online.
